Yeah I expected he/she might be a hot head. BUTTT, that does not mean MB has not earned the creation of the site, it's just usally it takes a hot head to get something like it started.

Like Iraq war, IMHO it is a neccissary evil but it took someone a little tuffer than previous mamby pampy girly boys that have been in office, to dare make a stand.

(this is not the place to debate this opinion so please lets not go that direction. It just wrote it for comparitive expample)

IMHO, as an engineer, and owning many cars throughout the past 33 years, new and used, my first Mercedes Benz, used 190E, I realized that I had finally found an automobile that I could really enjoy from an engineering standpoint.

Since that time, I have owned 3 more benzs, all diesels. I enjoy these cars because they were built better than most (quality in design, materials and construction) built to last.

A lot of brains went into the development of these cars and a caring lot with pride built them.

I'm speaking in the past tense, prior to 1996, and of the 124 model, I regret that I shall never likely own a MB beyond model year 1995, as I believe now the end of the quality era stopped at the end of the production run of the 124. It's replacement, 210,
does not impress me either in esthetics or quality of meterials and of construction and MB doesn't care anymore about you, they care only about profit!

They're parasites riding on the coat-tails of yesterday!

Personally, I think the guy needs to hire an editor....
