Sorry guys I was stuck in an airport and my sarcasm was not needed. My intended point was just as the other control factors that the governor takes into consideration when determining the appropriate amount of fuel and thus rack position, input from the ALDA interpreting boost is a very useful IP control system. Our challenge is trying to reverse engineer the delicate interplay of the various adjustments. I think tossing one to the curb (ALDA) might not necessarily be the best course of action. In an otherwise stock pump turning the ALDA srew all the way out or even takeing it off might give a bit more fuel, but when you turn up the FL and TC having the ALDA to limit off idle no boost fuel id very useful. The ALDA can be adjusted so that after about 8psi the two capsules in the alda are colapsed to the point where they don't conttact the pin and no longer limits fuel.
