Sorry guys I was stuck in an airport and my sarcasm was not needed. My intended point was just as the other control factors that the governor takes into consideration when determining the appropriate amount of fuel and thus rack position, input from the ALDA interpreting boost is a very useful IP control system. Our challenge is trying to reverse engineer the delicate interplay of the various adjustments. I think tossing one to the curb (ALDA) might not necessarily be the best course of action. In an otherwise stock pump turning the ALDA srew all the way out or even takeing it off might give a bit more fuel, but when you turn up the FL and TC having the ALDA to limit off idle no boost fuel id very useful. The ALDA can be adjusted so that after about 8psi the two capsules in the alda are colapsed to the point where they don't conttact the pin and no longer limits fuel.

That's the point when you should touch the pin screw to increase the ALDA pin travel. This gives a little more fuel until the pin is again in touch with the capsules. Either you increase the lift of the capsules (in theory using 3 of them instead of 2) or you change the curve (lift of capsules over rack travel) by changing the geometry of the lever (or by using an ex centric pin screw).
Making the curve less flat and adjusting the ALDA "higher" will provide more fuel under boost while starting the curve at a level of very "low" ALDA.
