The Myna pump can definitely feed 300hp. Just make sure your motor doesn't grenade when you double the output!

Myna pump

see the 5th post down what the eric guy says.........look at that whole thread.....i get alot of bashing from the my other info so thats why im asking.

145hp is approximately the limit of the stock pump.

If you expect to install the Myna pump on your engine, and make NO other changes, it will not produce 300hp. While the Myna pump can fuel 300hp, the stock turbocharger will become the next limitation. How much power could you make with a Myna pump and stock turbo? I don't know. Maybe 175hp, maybe 200hp, maybe 150. There's only one guy in the USA with a Myna pump on a 617 and he hasn't pushed his engine that far. All you can do is try it. When you reach the point where it's smoking at WOT, and the stock turbo can't safely push any more air (somewhere around 17-20psi), then you're at the limit.

Eric is right, it would probably take $5k in custom headers, turbocharger, intercooler, and exhaust, along with the Myna pump, to get 300hp at the crank of an OM617. The pump is just one part of the equation, but it's the biggest limitation.

I was gonna go for 160hp max before but after all the motors ive touched and seen how much they can take (customers who dont take care of ****). Ive decided to go for 200hp daily driver.

I know what a good turbo can make and with the myna pump im gonna just try it with a small IC and if i cant get 20psi of boost then i will go to a holset. but thats it ill be running stock auto trannys.

BTW: i will never put a pump on a motor with less than 400psi compression so i know i am getting close to full power from the motor its self to just start with.

When i get the pump its going on a euro 85' 300TD turbo.

I already have the AMG steering wheel to add 10hp!

I ran 6mm and 6.5mm (MW) elements on my SD with stock engine.
The fuel delivery potential can't be used!
Next life I'd start with air supply mods first. Its cheaper, does not smoke and you need it anyway when the IP comes.
On the other hand you spend much money and can not feel it that much.
I was at 186 Km/h (GPS) with my SD, 6mm and stock engine but the big step was with VTG and larger elements.
The vane control is not working well, not finished yet but the first test drives made me

thats why everyone is getting a sprinter or liberty turbo first. makes a big difference in performance even with completely stock fuel settings and no intercooler.

It looks cool, and smoking the tires is fun, but I'd be a lot more impressed with a legible dyno sheet and some dragstrip videos.

My english is a litlebit rusty (I`ve learned it in a school about 20 years ago), but I try to translate.

OM606 // Billet crankcase caps // terastukikehto = reinforced bottom end crankcase (I don´t know actual word) // Arrow connetcting rods // Orginal pistons modified (machined and coated) // Auto Verdi dry sump // Modified cylider head // Myna Diesel pump // PO-Metal steel flywheel // Alcon 3 plate clutch // 2 x holset turbo // Eaton supercharger // 30 chanel datalogger.

Looks// Restaured

ETC // Engine is secuentaly boosted. At idle the boost is 0,6bar (~9psi) and when running whit an light load the boost is 4,5bar (~65psi). This resulst allmost smokeless way to go without any lack of performance.

Rumous have told, that the numbers were around 760hp and 1400Nm on engine dyno. That car is beutifully finished and fast. I think that in this coming summer owner/builder will prove that.
