Remove the trap catalyst ('85 300D-T CA), temporarily replace with test pipe.

The 2 modifications that really make a difference with very little money are a boost controller and maxing out your pump.

The first mod. I did was add a electric fuel pump.Great power up mountains, and higher fuel mileage. I got the idea, from running my Benz at full tank, and refueling after 2 gals. gone.I noticed when changing primary filter the gush of fuel with a full tank. This led me believe that with extra fuel pressure the engine did not have to work so hard pumping its own fuel, hence higher mileage. After installing a 14 psi pump,I could now get higher MPGs no matter how much fuel in the tank, plus added power.

I mean "improvement" perceived or otherwise. Better than previously.

Would this work?

Where did you plumb it into the line?

Beware of oscillating/diaphragm pumps. Good for transferring fuel from tank to tank, but I wouldn't waste money on one.
