Lots of fun!


The other racer was in a 99-02 Ford F250 with the 7.3L PSD, I actually had him up to the 1/8th mile!

For the second run I removed the exhaust from the downpipe back, my times were SLOWER! The only faster number was 0.41mph faster top speed.

Cool!

I always get my arse handed to me at the drag strip in my truck. Shifting that heavy transmission is a pain and I'll never win against the automatics or a light weight car.

But, it's still a lot of fun.

What did the truck guys think of the MB diesels?

My windows were up so I couldn't hear anything but Will's dad said there were really talking up our cars.

"Its a Mercedes, with a DIESEL!"

There was a really cool VW Rabbit Pickup there too (I couldn't find it in the pits to take pictures). It only made one run but it creamed the pickup it was running against.

You got better time than I expected. The 240D actualy got some wheel spin! It's time made me giggle a bit though.
