Sometimes you have to do with what you have to make things work - I know this well.

My turbo is made in China and so was the one before - sometimes you get some good parts and some bad. As far as what I was told, the Chinese elements are not as precise and require more work to set up, but you can make them work.

I was also eluding to the fact that we now have a pump tuner in the States that put out some insane amounts of fuel.

Don't take it the wrong way and think I am only here to say my opinion - you know that is not true, I am not Forced...
How many pumps have they altered and installed vs Myna? How many Myna pumps have failed because of the inferior elements? How many have had to be returned to Myna due to inferior workmanship? If you don't know the answers to these then it's quite premature to declare Myna a inferior pump builder to anyone. I'm not forced either, but these are the questions that need answers when asking who is a "better pump builder". Declaring Tomnick's pumps as "better" at this point due to conclusions based on the parts alleged origin is as premature as a 5 month pregnancy. This is not Benzworld here Rudolf.

If you want a better explanantion of why I said the quality of the "elements" not workmanship is better, please PM Tomnik as he has more information on this subject than I do.

I never meant to slam anyone one their workmanship, said it before..

I got two points from rudolf's post.
1. there is a US pump tuner here in the states!
2. the us builder will not have to work as hard as the fins, because the us builder is getting German elements, that are simpler to install.
I read nothing in Rudolf's post that said anything inferior about quality or longevity of the finn built pumps.

Yes, but if our friend Rudolph finds that the T5 will not handle the torque/horspower that his engine puts out, he will find a way to stuff an Allison under the tunnel if he has to! He will also make it look like it came from the factory that way!

I have nothing for or against anyone here, just making observations. Suggesting I ask the seller/maker/producer if his product is "better" than the competition? Not the best idea if you want an uncolored, unbiased opinion- not they are not better- but that's never the route to take in the task of discovery. Really it boils down to how many pumps have been "tuned" and how long have they been in the field and what is the reputation of them?

The thing is, Tom never made these with the intention to sell them via mass market. There was a minimum order that was required to get what he wanted and those that were fortunate enough to get the balance of the elements are happy to have done so; ~400% increase in fuel over stock M-pump.

That being said, it would not be a bad thing to talk to Tom. He has been more than helpful on this and other boards, not trying to sell anyone anything.

I agree with your statement regarding an unbiased opinion...no arguments here.

Coolest. Thing. Ever.

Damn, do I wish I had the time and 1/2 the fabrication skills and knowledge. Hell, who am I kidding, I'd be happy with 1/4!

Out-freaking-standing!
