W124 Quick Shifting???

My 300TD Wagon shifts through the gears very quickly if I'm driving very easy, like in town; to the tune of 1st-4th gear by the time I hit 35 mph. Is this normal, or is there some adjustment that can be done?

Search "Bowden cable" on the diesel forum. This cable will affect shift points, shorter is later upshifts, sounds like yours needs to be adjusted. It is easiest to adjust with the windshield washer bottle out.
