What turbo is this???

Got this turbo for free from a good friend..from searching on the forums it is a KKK and it has been said it spools faster..got some #'s here on a tag that's on the back..
002 096 1699
843 480 517
5326 9706 031

On the front side...5326 101 5080 6W...with the 3 K's..

anyone know what's it from? Would it be a usable turbo for a 240? & yes I want to turbo a 240D..

It's most likely from a 300d, and probably still wouldn't spool fast enough since it's one less cylinder.

You'll be fine if you add extra fuel to compensate , it'll smoke a bit more but spool fine. the factory turbo's on 617's are quite a bit to small for the application which gives great off-idle boost so dropping a cylinder wont put you overkill, might be pretty close to what the engine actually needs.
