tell us the rest of the story... if you loved it why not make it permanent? What was the hard part? How much propane?

I'm hoping this summer to run it on my 617.951 I've used a small tank to start engine when glowplugs were dead at 28 degrees.
I've got the tank just need a Hobbs switch, and pressure gauge.

Hey I like that a boost activated switch.I figure most others run at 6 psi out the nozzle.Thats what I looking for also adjustable regulator.I understand old welding gauges and reg, will do.

i just used a on-off valve to control flow, it was fun but the car ended up not making it for other reasons so i ended up not pursuing a permenant installation. a boost switch would be the way to go for sure. there was no "hard" part, run a hose into the intake pre-turbo put the tank somewhere and put a valve inbetween the two :) it was as simple as possiable just to explore the concept and see for myself what would happen. it was kinda fun cruising around 20-25 mph with zero throttle input but it ended up being more of a game when i was bored to see how far i could drive without using the skinny pedal.

Johsa. What psi were you spraying at?I bought all my parts for a homemade system.I'm at 10psi.

A hose from regulator to turbo leting 10 psi out.I'm not seeing any gains yet.I think its more air than propane right now.I want to see black smoke and I'm guessing at flow.I guess I'll do 20 psi.
Ps have no electric switch yet just ball valve inside car next to shifter.
