Mazda Speed wagon vs Myna pumped 300TD

I was driving today and a blacked out mazda wagon "speed" version of the 3 was in front of me- he jumped on the tail of a 350Z and tried to keep up with him as it left the light (he did quite well doing so, and the car sounded nice). It's a good looking wagon IMHO. Shortly after that the Z took a left and the Mazda and I were at a four lane stop light side by side. Now I know he's gonna easily beat me from 0-60 dead stop, so I let him, but then later we're even at 40mph I'm in "2" gear selection and I punch it and beat him to 65. Of course we slow down; he passes me and I give him the thumbs up sign and he honks approval back to me. Later I'm going to turn right with a double right turn lane and he's on my tail. With my vogtlands and HD shocks I can take corners quiet fast- and I did and punched it. He was not able to pass me until I was at about 65 again. He gave the thumbs up this time. His car was faster, but then I don't think he thought a old MB diesel wagon was going to give him a good run for his money. I need a big VGT damn it!
