OM603 Turbo pistons and rods in OM606 N/A

Title says it all.
I've searched this and other forums and can't find the info.
Will the OM 603 turbo pistons and rods work in the OM 606 NA block?
The N/A already has the squirters, and my understanding is the pistons and rods are the weak link.
I have a 606 N/A, and have located an '87 603 core, from which I've already liberated the turbo IP...
Any info or BTDTs would be much appreciated.

I'm also looking for a 606 exhaust manifold, if you can tell where this is going..
Best regards,
Mark

Perhaps if you bolted a 603 cylinder head on that block. There's no way 603 pistons will work with a DOHC head that places the prechamber into the center of the piston. Don't know about the rods, though. Probably best to just turbo the NA and keep boost and fueling at a reasonable level.

is the compression ratio the same for the non-turbo vs. turbo 606?

Besides prechamber tip location, the 603 piston is notched for 2 valves while the 606 piston is notched for 4 valves. You might be able to machine the 603 piston for proper clearance. You're likely better off paying $3000 or whatever they want for a 606 turbo engine.
