Bigger turbo on 2005 CDI

Is it possible to install a bigger turbo on a 2005 CDI? I was thinking about an intercooler also but that might have to be custom made to fit the space. If so what size and where would I get it. Would it even make more power or would the computer not let it make enough boost.

Bigger intercooler

I was thinking of a bigger intercooler and a bigger turbo. In my mind I was thinking of 350 hp and 600 ft lbs of torque. But my mind is always deeper than my pocket.

many many people in Germany tune their CDI's.....many business exec's that spend their days commuting at full speed ahead on the autobahn .......the numbers you mentioned are not at all unrealistic, and there will be finished "performance packages" available from various companies....

Why not just start with a remap?

350hp and 600tq seem like arbitrary numbers.

Engine rebuild 2005 CDI

I pulled the engine out f my 05 CDI. I broke it down to the block. Suggestions for making more power? Could I should I get better Rods, or Pistons? I am thinking internal improvements, since I can see the internals at this point.

Bob
