Its the biggest IC I could fit in there without cutting anything supportive and still clear speed bumps. If you look at a W124 there isnt much room to fit 3" piping.

Yikes! That's clearance like my Corvette, except that on the 'vette it's just a flexible rubber strip...

Get used to going in and out of driveways and entrances at an angle.

I've realized its not a long term solution at this point and will probably have a custom 6" tall one made, alternatively for the $60 it cost me I can just stock up on them.

28x8 delta tube n fin with 125cc pump on a 603.

Stock up on engines while you're at it, since the chunks that get knocked into it will go straight up the intake.
Look into an air to water intercooler, there are a bunch of inline and u-turn styles. They don't take up a whole lot of space, then you run what is essentially a large trans cooler in front of the radiator.

I like the look of it - I'm not quite sure it is necessary but I like the look of it anyway

Can you show us how you routed the inlet/outlet from turbo to intake? Ive been contemplating this but hoping for an easier solution than TIGing some elbows to my crossover tube!
