looking for a Mercedes 1985 repair manual

Does anyone know where to purchase a repair manual for a 1985 Mercedes, I can find the ones that cover numerous years but they try to cover too much material and leave a lot out.
I have a 1985 300SD turbo deisel and a 85 300TD that I need manuels for.
I appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks

Have you tried the options on startekinfo.com?

They allow free access to the W123 FSM

i agree about the FSM, that is the one to have. you can search out the thick books, but getting it electronically is a lot cheaper now.

I may be blind, but do you have a direct link? I saw nothing pointing to a W123 FSM without first subscribing and paying for access.

edit: found it via google..
w123 factory service manuals

edit2: maybe not. it looks good to start, but attempting to look at element pages for my 85 results in a 404 error. is there any other?

They only want a credit card to verify your location and such. They do not charge it.
