48 volt blowers ?

Audi is now using them for the short time before the turbo spools up. Why can't older MB diesels do the same?

Are they actually using them? I thought that was just on the diesel A5 hotrod concept car.

at 4x the voltage, i could see these being useful where the 12V ebay models are not. go ahead and rig up that 48V power converter and li-ion battery bank, you will be in business!
