VNT deemed unnecessary?
How electric superchargers work
There's not enough here yet to truly get excited, but I like the idea of bolting this on and reducing spool-up, esp when not yet warm. |

Pretty neat device. My concern would be sustained operation because I'm sure this uses more amps than the alternator puts out. It would be nice to have this compounded with a larger traditional turbo as it would be less complex than compounding standard turbos.
However, at that point, a VNT/VGT would be simpler to install.

Find yourself a fairly modern, newer turbo with a twin scroll housing and use a quick-spool valve
