What kind of ALDA is this?

I want to adjust the ALDA on my 1983 300D non turbo, but it looks different from all the ones Ive seen online. Unless I am looking at the wrong item, it doesn't seem to have the screw on top that would be used to adjust it. It has 2 screws on the side. Any help would be appreciated.

Saw some other posts and I guess that the non turbos have ADAs which explains the difference. Can this be adjusted in a similar way?

Looks like you have an "M" pump which is completely different yet, not sure if there's really any adjustment or anything to gain from adjusting one though on a non-turbo engine

That's the vacuum shutoff actuator. No ALDA, ADA, or any other emissions equipment on that pump. Those pumps were used in everywhere in the world except North America.

That car would be a Euro grey market import at a guess.

Thanks for the replies. Yes, it is an import from Germany. A little disappointed as I was hoping an ALDA adjustment might give me some more power.

sorry. the only way to get more power in that car is to send the pump to MYNA and spend MEGA bucks having it tuned. then attaching that pump to a turbo motor... THEN you'd have serious power.

FWIW, the NA engines can supposedly make in the region of 100hp+ with bigger elements and custom manifolds
