w210 e300 turbo comparable differentials

are e320 e430 e55 of w210 chassis have comparable rear differntials that will fit the 99 e300 ?

what kind gear ratios do they have

thanks

I'm actually curious about this myself. I envision a limited slip diff in there at some point in the future.

maybe e320 or v8 rear diff would be better geared, etc

I'd LOVE a LSD in mine, especially once I coax some more power out of the motor....

I'm curious about this too. I do know there is a service where we can send in our existing differential and it will be modified to an LSD for a charge. This way you retain "stock" parts and the LSD is added. I wonder how the traction control would act as a result?
Do the E420/430/55's have a different gear ratio for the trans than the E300/320? Maybe swapping the trans is another option although much more expensive than the diff.

Where?

No different. It would act the same, but would be less intrusive, as there would be less slippage for it to "correct".
