adding boost 1987 300sdl.

So I bought a few parts to control the boost levels.

Be fore I get into those parts. I connected a gauge to the intake for a reference the boost is at 5 psi. From what I read that low even for factory, please chime in if that's a incorrect .

I deleted the egr valve . An checked the turbo. I am thinking it's likely been rebuild once or replaced. So if anyone needs a turbo I am taking this one off for a KKK - 27 turbo I had rebuilt years back. I am thinking the waste gate is tired on this car.

So I picked up a greedy profec e-01 control / multi display unit. As you can tune the boost curves . Figured it may be handy and kinda fun to screw with.

I have paperwork for the ip, being rebuilt or replaced by Mercedes as well. So I need to go read up on how to make it run max fuel. I just want to blow smoke at a prius while I pass it getting on the freeway hahaha.

Still waiting on a wastegate and a Pyro meter to arrive .

Trying to fine out what vacuum line / stuff I can pull off. There's a few on the ip. Any one witch actually expericane I could get with would be nice. This car has a 603 in it thanks for the read.

Okay put this project as side for a bit . Picked up a Pyro sensor for the profec controller. I hope to make some progress this week.
As well as build some silly 3 or 4 inch exhaust and intake for the turbo. I thing my goal is a kinda noisy smelly vip car. I need to get pics on to photo bucket. Ake this a bit more interesting.

In the mean time I spent a got bit reading on stuffs. I think I know enough to blow it up now.
