Where can I get a Bosch MW manual?

It seems as if 6MW pump manuals are readily available, but where could I obtain a service manual for a 5MW? Or at least who is there to contact, because I've spent 5 hours looking with no luck

Did you check the Internet? Sometimes, downloads are free to clubs or hobby groups. Did you check Bosch?

A better question is why? Not a whole lot you can do on those that isn't covered by online DIY without very expensive equipment.

Exactly, injection pump tuning is a trade in itself when you get to that level of adjustment

I really want to get into building a pump, I just can't see paying so much for one and not knowing the process that goes into building one. I've read forums for hundreds of hours but the next step is to experiment on my own. I'm interested in making a test bench and all the necessary equipment, I do have a small machine shop as well. Would I be considered insane for even trying? I know the people who do experiment in this way are seriously dedicated and knowledgeable. I do have 2 good pumps and 4 cores though, and a cherry engine to test them on.

Dunno about making your own test bench - some here have looked into it, but I'm not really sure how accurate they would be given you've got nothing to calibrate it. No harm in trying if you're that interested though. Others here have more experience in that field than I.

If you are planning on modding your MW IP, the link on the attached post for OM616's "Bosch M and MW pump theory" google doc may be of assistance.
Where are the turbo 240D guys?

There is a guy in NC who has made his own test bench so it's doable. At $900 a refresh you can make good money on it but demand is ???

Member KarTek, I think made the bench for about $99,000 less than the Bosch bench.
