Silver Box Shift Firmness Controller

Has anyone tried this "Silver Box" Shift Firmness controller? It's for the 300c/charger version of the 722.6, but I don't know how different the MB TCU is from the Dodge unit.

It seems like an intercept box that offsets whatever signal from the TCU that sets line pressure when shifting.
