cloudy now and the monsoon has stopped
8:30 here on the north shore..............dark and cloudy...........torrential downpours all day yesterday and last night. The rain has stopped. Making COFFEE. What is Connecticut weather like ...for those of us without television! Still planning on taking the trip!
Who ELSE is going to show? Bob, Rob, what of Steve Lewis and his Sd? Hatterasguy, glad to hear that you got the cruiser back on the road. John, we would REALLY enjoy checking out the 240 STICK. Lets hear from y'all. I will bring some homemade cookies and coffee....maybe even some beer! My wife has even decided to participate. Lets see some Benz diesels! spo out

still getting ready
The wife is going to let me take the (HER) Sd. She is staying home to meet with an old friend that married and moved to Maine. My son Max will take the trip.
We should arrive by 12:30 or so at the latest. I will bring my laptop and cell phone connection to "monitor" the situation, and even to allow any of the attendees to post a digital photo or a few in real time. Loading up on coffee now. spo out

I would have loved to come, but my kids hve the flu,and I can't bail on my wife, At least my car made it on the thread: page 1, post 13, thumbnail, car to left with the offroad driving lamps, strubridge, ma, last winter> hope I make the next one. steve 83sd

Ha I'm probably the first one to get home!
 It was fun the weather was cold and dark but no rain. The turn out was ok Turbodiesel didn't show up maybe to much in Atlantic city?  Lots of nice cars and good conversation. I always enjoy meeting the people from this site. I think Bob was taking the pics, no one else brought a camra!

Sorry I missed it.. something came up in the morning and I wasn't available until around 10-10:30.. and I was still 150 miles or 2:45 away.. I was afraid to get there and come to an empty parking lot. Who showed? Let's see some pics!
