Northwest/Portland/South Washington GTG? - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Okay everyone...this has been beaten to death like a dead horse but I would really like to get a GTG going for the northwest.
I live near portland oregon and would like to put together something either in portland or in south washinton, depending on turnout.
I need some help with the dates becuase I am merely a college student on break and have TONS of free time

I was thinking the weekend before christmas perhaps but not really sure if people will be out and about and/or with family (bring them along!)

Anywho let me know. All else fails we can have it some time after the first of the year.

I am a diesel mercedes owner so the diesel crowd will be represented to some degree and I was hoping for the diesel guys to jump on the boat (working on their forum)

Anyone over here interested?
Either drop a post, or a email, or a personal message (even though I rarely check them) and we can figure something out

The weekend before christmas is the 18th-19th
Would be mid-day (12:00-2:00 area probably) and I will find somewhere good to meet unless someone gives you a good suggestion

You beat me to it. I was thinking the same thing!

Lets pick a date far enough into the future so everyone can plan for it. How about this spring sometime?

LeBenz was willing to host last year, perhaps once again.

I have been pushing for it over on the diesel discussion for the weekend of the 8th.
Saturday perhaps (This is January).
THis could be a soon one just to show that we are doing stuff and perhaps get a good email list going of people?
A further along one (spring) would be good though.
It can't be spring break becuase I don't think I will be home along with other college students.
Any suggestions? Past dates?

There is a Safeway with fuel (gas and diesel) and also a Burgerville for lunch deliciousness

Not sure if I can make it or not, but I'll mark it down on my calender. Been awhile since we've had a GTG in this area. Might look thru postings in this forum of past GTG's we've had and send those guys a note if you haven't already. Not sure how often anyone checks this events forum.

Got a few to turn out
Take a look over at Diesel Discussion and you can see the people that will show
Should be a fun group

I will bring the camera and the benz.

Sorry guys. I won't be able to make it. Not just the weather. I'm trying to finish up some home repairs to get it on the market in the next few months, and just too much to do.
Post pix if you all do meet though

We are looking at spring/summer sometime.
Sorta up in the air at the moment until people get their schedules ironed out and whatnot.

its a 3-4 hour drive for me but I would go if anyone else here from the forum is gonna go.
