UPDATE: GTG 8TH of January 12pm!!!

I've noticed W123 diesel owner get togethers in other parts of the country but none here, or I haven't seen anything lately. What are the chances of having one here and what do you guys do at one anyway?
Could it be that there aren't that many W123 owners in my area that belong to this forum?

I don't own a 123, but I would be happy to help out with a get together in Portland. I have a smidge of experience with this.

Cheers,
Gerry

I don't think it'll matter what car you could bring as long as it's a M-B.

I'm in Salem and just subscribed to this thread, so I am interested also. I have no experience with a GTG but if I can be of assistance I will do whatever it takes. Lee Derby

You guys need to check in at the Events and Gatherings forum once in awhile.;) We're in the process of working on another Washington (Pac. N.W.)GTG in the spring/early summer. One of the fellas(LeBenz) has offered the use of his cabin near Mt Raineir. Not sure if that's too far for some of you way down in Oregon tho'. But would be awesome to make a 2-state GTG.
BTW, a "diesel only" GTG was tried here in Washington a couple years ago. Was only semi-succesful. We had a much better turn out when we opened it up to everybody.
If you do decide on one in Portland however, I may be able to make it down. I have an aunt in Beaverton I could spend the night with and make a nice weekend out of it.

I like the idea of a 2-state GTG! You can count me in for sure. ;)

*bump*

Its the holidays, the weather is nice...we need to have a get to gether up here.
I will organize if that works??

Would a weekend day work for most people? I know a lot of us work and thus cannoot make weekdays.
Whos going to be in town/available the weekend before christmast (18th-19th)?
Too close to holiday?
Let me know, email me, whatnot.
All else we need to get something together...the NorthWest has quite a few people it seems..

Thanks!

Any weekend date should work for me, New Year's sounds great. Unfortunately I won't be able to bring a diesel as I don't own one though.....

Cheers,
Gerry
