Yep, I like the 6 o'clock option, more daylight. I'll bring some potato chips.

'I hate people, but I love gatherings. Isn't that ironic?'

i'll drop by, but i'll be so shy!!! my car is so beat up, i'll be embarrassed!!! and i've never had face to face conversation about my car, i'll feel like a cheeseball.

will we reveal our forum names? can we bring old parts we don't need anymore? i have an egr valve if someone wants one. and if someone wants a couple of shots of biocide, i don't mind serving what i have.

now the only thing everyone has to look for is a beat up diesel, and they'll know who i am. so much for being inconspicuous.

Oh no! I wish you could come though. The GTG will still go on, but it won't be a picnic like planned. But we did have a good time at the first MB GTG at the park, with no picnic. We'll miss your presence though.

60% chance of rain on July 16. Hopefully, the rain will not be in the evening.

Update:
Weather channel website shows 0% chance of rain at 6pm on July 16th. I sure hope it stays that way.

Update 2: The 0% chance of rain has now become 70%. We may have to reschedule this thing to Sunday evening if the weather reports are accurate and if Sunday has a low chance of rain.

Well, the GTG went on, only me, my dad, and Doug (ridinsmooth) were there. Although the others were absent, we still managed to have a good time. I got about 15 good pictures. I'll post them for you to see.

You can see in two of these pics, the up close difference between a sealed beam light and one of those Hella "sealed beam" lookalike E-code headlamps. I have sealed beams, and I did want Euros. But these are cheaper than the Euros and give just as good lighting, I think they're what I'll switch to.

Unhappy

I wish I had been able to make it, sounds you had some good exchanges and the weather held up.
