Wow nice turn out! Like Brian it would have been close to a 6 hour ride for me. This time of year I just can't get away for a weekend.

Who's blue W126 is that? It is the same color as my car.

John if you ever feel the need to sell that super rare W126 please tell me first.

Congrats on a cool GTG.

I live in L.A., where hitting the freeway each day allows me to join a giant GTG of rust-free MBs stretching more than 50 miles. Problem is, nobody talks to one another, or shares their MB wisdom.

Hattie, It will be sold someday but the price might be a little steep... especially if I have to put a new engine in it. I don't even know the condition of the current one yet, I think one of the fuel pumps is shot which is keeping it from starting and It needs a radiator before I can drive it anywhere...

I think I might drive it for a year or so, we'll just have to wait and see

Where were all the DC guys at?

The blue car belongs to one of the local guys here. He bought it from the guy that owns that Cream colored 300SDL and was the previous owner of that Duchatelet 126 I now have. Whats a good price for a near perfect 300SDL with 195k? I have a guy at work who wants it so I told him $6k and he didn't back down!

$6k-$7k would be a good price if the car is mint.

If he wants a cheap yet nice W126 tell him to buy a gas one. Diesels, especially the rare 300SDL's have more resale.
