I wish I had been there. Looks like a great turnout of cars.

Stinkin' weekend weird-hour job.

Now THAT is what a GTG should be like. At the last Houston GTG we had, there were only 2 cars and three people, me, my dad and ridinsmooth. Maybe we'd have more people if we had it as a Texas/W. Louisiana GTG or maybe just a Texas GTG.

I enjoyed myself, and the company of the people who were there. Wish I had longer than the 4 hours I was there...the time goes so quick when you are having fun.

Yep! It was nice to see John & BHD again as well as meeting other fellow forumers. Made me realize more and more that my enthusiasm for these fine cars are also the passion of many others out there... It felt good driving back home (3 hours away!)... Next time - let's have a Grand GTG!!

Yep.......looks like you fellows had a fine time. Wish I could have made it, but 5 1/2 hours, each way would be a stretch for me.

Maybe next time..........

I would like to see a large group meet sometime too. I guess we'd have to look into hotel reservations for something like that. Possibly be able to get a group rate on it though.

I went to the DMC meet in tennessee last summer (my band was the music entertainment for the weekend). 117 cars from all over the country came, but then again, they only do one every two years. I had the only Mercedes

You know this is very doable... I once helped organize/manage a car show for a MB Club...did the recruiting for sponsors, venue, etc... And a grand GTG isn't overly difficult as long as many will post their commitment here on the forum... I'm sure we all can someday (soon I hope). How about an entire eastern-US grand GTG?? hehehe...just brainstormin'

Sorry I couldn't make it. Working weekends really sucks.

Thanks to benz bar for the great pix.

And John, your new ride with the built in TV is a great piece.

Cheers,

Bill
