Anyone up for a NE GTG sometime in Oct?

I was thinking we should have a GTG before the weather goes south. Anyone have any ideas? I was thinking of maybe something a little more then showing up in a parking lot and talking for a few hours. Bills GTG in May was the best one I have been to yet!

My parants are going to kill me and I need to get approval from above, but I live on a dead end. We could line the cars up along the dead end and on our front yard. Since it will be at my house we would have lunch ect. After we could go for a nice ride I live about a mile from the beach. Nice place for some photo's.

So is anyone up for one at my house on either the weekend of the 8th, 15th, or 22nd?

Now this is all depending on what my parants say.

I'm game as long as I'm still on Long Island. Looks like I will be until mid Oct. BTW Patton also said

I can do the 15th or 22nd. The 8th is Columbus day weekend, we'll be busy. Foliage usually peaks later in the month there (I grew up in Stratford)

Actually, that's just what I need to give me a kick in the pants and finish my "reseating" project!

IT's funny to hear the moderator who "rules" on the forum, to say his parents are gonna kill him.

If you want to make it in NJ I know of a bunch of good spots. We had one years back at Round Valley park with a huge parking lot.

Syracuse, NY is available.......

Large front lawn - Central to many....

Just a thought..........

Any date chosen will work for us.

Bring a chainsaw!!!!! I'm getting a wood fired boiler installed (hint - heated garage as a bonus along with warm WVO ) I've got 12 ton of logs in my driveway.
