Sorry, got REALLY backed up at work. The towe auto museum would be really cool, and I think that is where we should meet. Its going to be kindof a stretch for me, as I live up here in Sunny Citrus Heights....
If anyone is still up for it tommorrow, let me know. I have to plaan with my dad, that way we can take the SL600.

I might be able to make it on Sunday, but it would probably have to be afternoon for me. Towe is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., admission is $7.

O, this kinda fell through. I think we may need to pust it back a bit. Here are some posible dates.
Feb 4-5 Feb 11-12 Feb 18-19 Feb 25-26 I just found out I have to drive to Redding tommorrow to go deal with some insurance claim. Ughhh. Maybe next weekend or one listed above. I think we are going to meet at TOWE, just in a few weekends. Please EVERYONE let me know that one of thos is a good date. I also need a general headcount, so I can see if we could get a group discount.

Sorry, Sac State just started this week, and I've been adjusting to my new schedule.
4-5 doesn't work very well for me, possibly 11-12, and right now I'm okay with the 18-19 and the 25-26. The Towe sounds fun, never been there despite living here all these years.

I am starting to think that the weekend of the 18-19 would be excellent. (the 21st is my bday)
I am going to need a headcount, because I am thinking about calling ahead, and seeing if we could get a group rate. Will this date work for everyone? And also, what nice reatauraunts are around??? I am not familiar with what is around there, so could someone tell me, what would be a good place to go after Towe. Anyway, I got homework. Thanks.

That weekend works great for me!
There are lots of places to eat in the area, A couple Thai places, Japanese, Tower Cafe (all sorts of stuff) just to name a few.

The weekend of the 18th looks good for me, too, with the 18th itself being preferable. There are tons of decent places to eat within a short drive.

We are finalizing the date then I take it. It is now on February 18th. I still assume we are meeting at the Towe Auto Museum. What is a good time? Would like 10.30 work, so we could tour the museum, and then head out to lunch? Anyway, let me know.
My dad has cleared is plate for the 18th, so we could head down in the 129. Please list your name, and your mode of transportation you are using to get to the meet, if you are going...

I hope you guys dont mind, but I invited some Ferrari Chat people along for the ride. Most of them have some cool cars. One of em is going to hopefully bring his 6.3, so it should be a cool get together.

I'll plan on it, too. Just not sure how I'll get there yet. I might be on my bike!
There's a burger joint at Broadway & 16th (across from Tower Books) that might be a good place to go for lunch after the museum. I forget the name of it, but it's next to a Washington Mutual Bank, where we might be able to park all the cars while we gnosh. There's also a pizza joint across the street for those who might want something else. Oh yeah, and there's also lots of parking under Hwy 50 just behind the burger place (they hold big swap meets there a couple times a year). That might be a better place to park for an impromptu 'car show,' if those lots are open. >>Still looking for another Benz to join the family.
