Anyone interested in a Sacramento meet? I want to make a get together to meet some of the other Sacramento owners. If there is any interest, let me know, and I will throw together some plans.

Not sure of how many owners there are here in Sacto., but it would be really cool to see a turn out, even if its small!

Im in Midtown, 21st & I sts. Once we figure out whos coming, a meet place should be determined. Lets get this rolling! Count me in.

If it is going to be a small crowd, I could just plan something for here at home. I have ample parking, and plenty of space, and stuff to do.

Hell, we could meet here and just go out for food or something. I just wish that more people would come out of the woodwork.

Autozen, I am going to be in fairfield in a week, do you anywhere by North Texas street? My grandma lives down there, and it would be cool to get coffee or something.

Im still interested in a meet, even if its minimal in attendance. Meeting somewhere for food or whatever would be cool. I know there are a few other local members who frequent the forum regularly. I could sent some PM's out to them with a link to this thread...

Just sent 8 private messages out to some local members whom have high post counts-figure they may frequent the forum more than others and will have higher interest. High post count doesnt necessarily mean that one member is a more frequent visitor to the forums than another, but I figured it would be a good place to start. Spread the word!

And hey, if this doesnt generate more interest who cares, a small GTG is better than no GTG!

I'm interested in going. Though I just sold my beloved 300TD, I plan to keep a hand in the Benz world in hopes of buying a 300CD someday. So it would be fun to see everybody else's cars and swap stories.

I might be interested in going. This spring'll probably be busy with work and school (hopefully with school, stupid Sac State bureaucracy), but I should have a couple hours on the weekends to drop by.

Hows about one closer to this date. I know schools are generally out through the next month, so maybe something in January.

If the crowd is not going to be that big, and has minimal oil leaks, I could throw a little get together here at home. I have the space, and the house for it. I could supply food and drinks, but someone would have to bring enterntainment. I have a big screen HDTV and surround sound, so Forza or Project Gotham would be cool. Let me know when your next availible date is. I need a week to prepare, so let m know ASAP. Thanks.

I'm still interested. I got a couple ideas where we can meet, both kinda informal places:

--Miller Park, in Sacramento along the Sacramento River at the end of Broadway. A nice setting where we could just park and chat and check out each others' cars, then maybe cruise somewhere for lunch.

--Towe Auto Museum, on Front St. not far from the park. They have a big gravel parking lot where we could meet, then maybe check out the museum (it's a real diamond-in-the-rough, $5 entry fee) and grab lunch after.

Hey Nate: Do you have a personalized plate on your car? I think I saw you the other day near 15th & Q St. If that was you, boy that's a clean car you've got! I was with my wife when we saw your car and it made us both miss our TD!

Yeah that was me, I live at 15th & Q in the unit with the cacti on the portch!
Ive got a europlate on the front, and my real plate mounted on the rear reads "DB300DT" click my avatar to see pic of car. Usually park in the garage under the building, but when I take it out I park on the street to warm it up before I drive her...
Thanks for the kind words! Depending on when you saw it, it may have been rather dirty compared to how i usually keep it, been so busy that i hadnt had time to give her its weekly wash and detail, then it sprinkled and made all the dust on her stand out! YUCK. Shes all cleaned up now and tucked away. My rainy weather car (C280) is getting out of the shop tomorrow so I wont have to drive my baby in the rain.

Meeting at Towe sounds cool, havent been there since I was little. i recieved a Pm from justin about a week ago indicating that he wanted to have the meet this sunday, so I sent him one back and havent heard from him yet so i guess the date isnt finalized, at least to us on this thread. Justin whered you go?
