2006 Northeast GTG

First off I must make mention of the holidays. Hope everyone faired well and I wish you all the best in the new year.

With 2006 here I am thinking of hosting another GTG, most likely in May. For those of you that attended last year, hope you can make it back and bring a friend.

For those of you that didn't attend please try to do so. We are located in southeast Pa., about 30 miles north of Baltimore, Md. Easy to get to from either I95 or I83.

We had a super turnout last year and hope for a better turnout this year. So nice to put faces with the screen names and, although we all slug it out on the screen at times, a great time was had by all. Any ideas for activities appreciated. Personally the only suggestion I have is to take another cruise around the countryside only this time could ya stay out of no mans land Alfie??LOL

Anyway, I know its early to get something started for May but it will give everyone plenty of time to plan, especially for those who live a good distance away.

Thanks for the great turnout last year and lets do better this year!

Cheers,

Bill

Well this is the diesel discussion but we'll take anybody. We're desperate!

Anyone with an interest in MBZ's is welcome to attend.

Was hoping you'd come BHD! Kinda figured you would.

Cheers,

Bill

Ever heard of the Mason/Dixon line dividing the north from the south? Well we're north of it and we're located far from the West.

Maybe you and Hattie could meet up and convoy down. He's not too far from you.

Cheers,

Bill

Guys trust me make the time, you want to go to this GTG! It is the Mercedesshop event of the year!!!!

Bill is an awsome guy and an awsome host for wanting all of us back again!

I am looking forward to this meet and can't wait, I will be their with bells on. Plus I'll bring at least one more MB maybe two.

I make a weekend out of it, I think this year I'll head to Gettysberg friday. Grab a room check it out and go to the meet Sat. Then Sunday finish up with Gettysberg and slowly work my way back visiting Cabalas super store on the way back!

Lester I hope you come!

He better show!

As for activities set up two stages. Will get Lester up on one and have dems debate him. This should provide hours of good entertainment! If we get 3-4 dems on the other stage it should give them half a chance...

Bill, I'm definitely looking forward to another GTG at your place. But, I can't make the committment until we get within a couple of weeks of the date. The demands of the business may or may not leave the date open.

Long Island convoy

Since 50% of the people at the last NE-gtg were from LI, what do you think of going there together? Let's meet somewhere (Nassau/Queens border?) and go there in a convoy!

Wow I would love to attend such an event!! I know of a perfect campground...about 10 mins outside gettysburg that I would most definatley love to stay at again!! Good excuse to go there.

Plus I am done with school for the semester by the first week of May, so I would have tons of freetime. Maybe I could be one of the youngest dieseler's present.... (19...almost 20 at that point)

I may live roughly 650 miles away from where the GTG would be, (591 from the campground) But I'd love to go out there for a few days!

Anyone else in MI planning on going? We could form a michigan convoy by the begining of the ohio turnpike or something!
