Eyes on Design is a benefit for the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology (DIO), a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation founded in 1972 in Grosse Pointe Park, Mich. Eyes on Design is the primary source of revenues for the DIO’s research, education and support group programs that enhance the independence of the visually impaired.


Hello,

I need your help again this year in tracking down some interesting Mercedes-Benz automobiles for the annual EyesOn Design Automotive Exhibition (see attached flyer).

Specifically I'm looking for some show quality examples of W105 sedans, W108 sedans (preferably the simpler "S" models), early W113 and W121 SLs.

If you know of any other interesting and beautiful MB vehicles in the area, I'd like to take a look at those as well. The age group I'm looking at is from about 1950 to 1973. My preference is for the cleanest, simplest designs from those model years.
