I see a lot of people from Illinois and Indiana on here. Should we have a GTG sometime to meet up peruse others autos and have some grub? It would be a good time, and I'm sure I could get some other makes along for it.

Actually a group of us on the diesel forum were talking about setting up a get together for the southern wisconsin area and the northern IL area. However I was thinking chicago area would be real nice, and we could probably get more people to attend.

I would be interested in attending a Chicago GTG. Weekends are best for me.

Lets do a Sunday afternoon. Lets discuss locations. I am up for anywhere within a two hour radius from my place. I would prefer a shopping center/restaurant type local for the large parking and lack of approval from landlords etc.

I am suggesting May 21st as that will give us plenty of time to get the word out. If anyone knows of a good place let me know and I'll scope it out in the next few weeks.

Though the cars are the stars I suggest wherever it is that an eatery is nearby so we will be able to sit and bench race also. Cool?

Looks like we are planning for May 21st. That is a Sunday because I know a few people who wanted to come along work Saturdays. We could do it at a park and just bring a grill along if that works better? We had a few at Busse Woods a few years ago, over by Woodfield mall.

Rey was suggesting we have it across from Fox Valley Mall like last time. Portillo's is right there, plenty of parking, and easy to find. I suppose your inviting mutual friends from all car walks, and certain choice cars?

woodfield mall is a good one. theres some good parking over there, and i'm sure they won't care if we fire up a grill or 2.
