LOL! Actually, as long as the walls are unplastered, the cattle are a bigger threat!! They think it's dinner and get upset (notice I said upset, not mad) when they discover it's only straw.

Thumbs up

I'm game, I'm in Houston often and mostly in DFW. So whatever works. I wish I could have made the last one down in H-town.

Probably run the SDL there as the SD looks pretty lame (half primer, half paint). Or maybe the 560 powered 420. Unless gassers aren't allowed.

beautiful! I make the call for texas and now threads about GTG are popping in each corner of the union.
On a more serious note now that the centerville option is looking everyday like more viable we are going to raise the list of attendees.
Please refer to the the link on Htownbenzoboy posts.

If you want, bring the gasser, it's a MB, right?

Yup, the 420 sure is a gasser... powered by the 560 M117! We'll see, the SDL's front end sux and I'd like to bring it. It's a serious roadburner but I'd rather not kill a set of tires and deal with how rotten it is currently

The running BMW is in a similar situation with a bad vibration at speed on the freeway.

It all depends on the weekend - but I'm definately game. We are planning a wedding, so I never know what the girlie has planned for us each weekend - but there seems to be always something....

Lightbulb Centerville, Austin, Dallas, Kinky's ?

Alrighty Texans, where we gonna meet? Maybe I can get away with my dad's MB.

If this is a Texan event let's centralize it. Get it in the Center of the state, easy access for all participants.

Austin is great, of course, I live here. Meet at Zilker Park, enjoy the shades and Town Lake, and plenty of food establishments and great hotels for those who wish to stay. Austin is about 3 hours from Houston, 3.5 to 4 hours from Dallas, 1.5 hours from San Antonio, 5 to 6 hours from the Valley.

Centerville is fine it just adds another hour or two to the folks from the Valley and it won't be a one day thing for them. I'm not opposed to driving, we all need to think of everyone involved. Using IH 35 is easy access for all.

What date? Where?

Let's get it together.
