First Houston/DFW GTG, July 29, 2006, Centerville, TX

What: The First Houston/DFW GTG

When: Saturday, July 29, 2006.

Where: The town of Centerville, TX. Located at the midway point between Houston and Dallas on I-45, about 1hr, 30mins from each city. We'll plan to get there around 2PM, and get together for lunch at Woody's Smokehouse on the northbound side of I-45. After lunch, we'll head to Fort Boggy State Park on Highway 75, South of Centerville for photo opportunities.

Caravan Departure Points (from Houston and DFW area): To be announced.

I hope you can come. I'd like to meet a "Mad Dog" pilot, the DC-9 and it's MD-8x, MD-90xvariants are my favorite Douglas/McDonnell Douglas designed aircraft, including the Boeing 717-200 aka: MD-95.

Not sure of my flying schedule for July either, but I can probably shift things and make it.

Dave - How's your sons flying career coming along? Last I spoke with you folks (been a few years) he was an IP at Arlington (?)

I'm think'n I still owe him a wet ride, too.

Not sure what my WVO surplus will be in July, but may be able to proved fuel for some in the DFW area as well.
