Which car should I take to the Tampa GTG?

Vote early and vote often. All my cars are in need of maintenance, so whatever gets the call gets worked on this weekend.

Hey Rick, who are you tryin to kid? Trading cars for test-drives is part of every GTG. Hell, even me happy with my 240D would like to take a spin behind the wheel of the 4-spd 300. Bring the '82 300D Euro 4-spd and you'll be a hero. Plus you'll stir the pot over bragging rights as to who's got the best car there.

Wink

Hey, since I can't make it and also have to make room for the W116 300SD, someone should buy my '82 300D 4-speed to take so Rick's Euro will have a friend.

Granny Smith, the euro, needs fuel filters (acting like it has a clog), diesel purge (one cyl nailing slightly), pool noodle fix of the driver's seat, and A/C recharge. Then a general cleaning because she's been sitting in the back yard for several weeks.

Big Smokey (99) is saying service me in 800 miles. Plus I need to replace the passenger's side mirror that was scratched up by a Sand Hill Crane and, if I have time, have the front rotors turned.

The Jeep is at 12,500 miles which means it is due for service, and Lil Smokey the Jetta is 2000 miles over due for a timing belt. Yes, I have plenty of projects stacked up.
