Hi Folks,

I've been busy and away from these boards for quite a while (that means no issues with the SDL, in fact, it's never run better

) and I'm very disappointed that I won't be able to make the GTG this weekend. I will be driving Smokey down to Berkeley for the Cal - UCLA game Saturday night, so I'll have to catch the next one.

I already have a set of rOnals but I wouldn't be suprised if another member is interested in them. Just the tires alone make the price worth it and I agree, they look great on w123's.

Goldenbear, where are you driving to Berkely from? We are meeting at 12 which I would assume (but don't really know) is before kickoff so if you were going through sacramento you could always stop by. If not we'll have to wait till the next one.

I'll try to assemble a roster later this evening, I'm still getting mad at my paint and I needed a break.

I reside in the Fair Oaks area. I'll be leaving early for a family GTG before the game, so I need to be in Berkeley by 11am. Had I perused this board a month or so ago I could have fit it in...BUMMER!

My friend might be able to join along if he can get his bumper fixed today. He has a 81 SD. But if he cant get it fixed hell just tag along with me and see the other cars.

I haven't got conformation yet, but my sister is supose to come. she will be bringing her cameras if she comes... she is an amature photographer, shes got some nice cameras. she is also looking at buying a mercedes diesel... so i told her to come and see what it is all about.

I'm hoping to make it, however the insurance company closed before I could get the call in. So the 280 SEL will be a no show. Hopefully the 300 need another run if I can get out of the house. Lot's of upkeep on the grand kids here.

Jeremy, i got the filler neck seal for you! it was actually $2. Ill make sure to have it in my car so you receive it at the gtg.

The Sacramento GTG at the Towe automuseum was a FANTASTIC success!

Thanks ESPECIALLY to Justin, Zack, Nate especially who really pushed to make it come together!! 2 1/2 hours of chatting and tire kicking then lunch at Tower Cafe for more chatting, then the locals went to a pick n pull party.
A fine day!!

There were SO many cars there I did not even get to see them all!!

I'm sorry I did not get to meet and talk to everyone!

Nate - Your 300D is without doubt CONCOURS!! Looks even better than in your sig. Truly, in burgundy, it looks showroom new, interior, paint and engine compartment. I have never seen one that beautiful. What a gem!

SirNik - Great story about your '84 SD! You need to tell it here with pictures!

Dieselchatter, With the mint black 190, Hope you enjoyed the meet - You drove all the way up from ONTARIO, in Southern California, just to be at the meet, hope you enjoyed the trip and back today as much as I did!

As everyone has said today was awesome. Lots of really cool people, cool cars and a great time had by all. I sure hope everyone who went had a good time and for those that missed out, we will have to see you next time. I took 150-200 pictures + some video so I'll get it uploaded as soon as I have the time.
