I'm in guys for Jan 20th! Whew! Glad I checked in. Biodiesel does smell nicer in a caravan. Should be fun dino or biodiesel! Should have my new turbocharger by then complements of my nor Cal MBZ dealer! I still can't believe it! Goody goody!

Wow, you have a great response up there. I would love to start a gtg in LA. I'm starting a Bio Fuel car club down here with most of us running old benz's so far. If anyone is interested we are called the Westside-Greasers's. Not only is it for the SVO / WVO guys, we are also getting into high perfomance diesels. We already have a Dyno Night coming up at a local shop! If you are in LA area or are coming down send me a e-mail or PM

We are also planning on driving the glow car (68 250S Converted to diesel in the 1970s) in addition to CDI. The glow car only has 60HP so hope we do not create a back log.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for accommodations in Bolinas? Family road trip.

Well, why not Justin? You came to the last one in the ML. ( Can your dad comje in the 600 SL, or what happened with that G Wagen you guys were looking at?) My car's not a diesel, either, and they've invited me again. Prana25 dropped by in his CL430, remember? Heck, If you can APPRECIATE a diesel, and you have a Benz, that runs, that'd be enough.

I would love to see that W124, and especially the sound system.

There's been some talk about a detail party (see post #65) and talk about a caravan departing from the Towe musueum to San Rafael that morning , 8:00 AM says Nate, but I think that might be pushinjg it, to Marin Co. Civic Center, Center, I'd think 7:30am probably would be nice so you didn't have to push those poor 240s too hard

Very easy, just take Highway 80 and then Highway 37 just before Vallejo, over to San Rafael, piece of cake.

Nate's planned a great route for the driving. He really knows his stuff, West Marin is perfect for this.
