Time for another East Texas gtg?

Dear all,

Last gtg in Centerville TX back in July was stellar (Thanx again to H-townbenzboy and Redassag00). But it is great time for another one. Maybe not that big (you just don't get the chance to talk to everybody when there are 50+cars in the mix)...

What about a GTG based in the DFW Metroplex for mid February?

I want to do another TX get together in Centerville coming up for Summer 2007. Right now, I'm focusing on school, and I'm considering having a Houston meet in a few months.

I've been thinking of this very thing.

Maybe something more, uh, central? Austin is a easy place to get to from DFW, Houston and San Antonio. Hmmm....

I'm sure we could get the Austin contingency to travel north for a GTG though, it'd be a fun caravan.

I'd host an ad hoc GTG at Berry Hill Farm some weekend after the first of the year.

It's my farm near Milano, TX. No improvements to speak of; nothing close-by, not even a restaurant (the closest is in Cameron, about 11 miles away).

See it here: Berry Hill Farm

But, I happen to think the place would look pretty good decorated with a batch-o-Benzos.

Looks great! Bring some picnic items and we'd be good to go. Who needs improvements? Not me and my 300TD.

Austin is further from DFW and Houston than Centerville is from them, not to mention that we had no attendees from San Antonio.

Dallas to Austin: 197 mi
Fort Worth to Austin: 187 mi
Houston to Austin: 163 mi

Dallas to Centerville: 123 mi
Fort Worth to Centerville: 145 mi
Houston to Centerville: 117 mi

Uhhh, what about Austin to Centerville?

Don't worry, I looked it up. 143 mi.

I still like the Berry Hill Farm idea a little better, but maybe we can make that one more of a central Texas GTG.

Like I said before, I'm down to go anywhere (well, not El Paso). I didn't buy a Touring Diesel for nuthin'.

Of course I am game! I would be fine with a DFW GTG, and/or a BerryHill Farm wing ding. That would be a lot of cookin' for Randy, though.....
I like the idea of another meet back at Centerville for the summer, but we can have one of these first........

Hey, I chased down one 240D and missed the first major GTG... now I could drive my own there. Maybe not, I need something weird. 280S fits the bill.
