I think there is also a Starbucks there (of course ), right off of I-35. Not my favorite place but should be easy to get to.

I am totally flexible though -- just wanted to throw out some suggestions. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
I'm just east of Downtown Dallas also. Are you in between Mesquite and Downtown, are farther east?
We'll definitely catch up on the way out there, and thanks for the above info. I'm just waiting for somebody else to make the decision.......

Greg, tell the truth. You will (pick any one of the following)...

1) ... arrive early, and kibbutz me while I'm trying to get things in order and leave before anyone else even gets to the GTG.
2) ... drive to the GTG in a Honda and talk all about what you're planning on doing with your 240D.
3) ...not be there at all.
4) ...not be there at all but will nevertheless torture us repeatedly with tales of über grand past GTGs where you cooked BBQ for the masses and the weather was perfect and there was plenty of paved parking and everybody surged 'round and had their compression checked.
5)...probably not drive to Austin to get Justin.

Look, I don't even think it is legal to call this a Get Together with you not cooking food...
I tried to interest you in doing a Get Together at McKinney Falls last year and you said you did not want to have anything to do with food... so you have been really consistant and honest all the time. Kibbutz you about what ? With no food prep... all you are doing is saying we can come and park our Mercedes in your Cow Pasture with your herd of Two Cows... isn't that the name of site which provides software ?
Anyway, it is all a moot point because the weather will be bad.. remember the last party you had scheduled out there ? As the two last remaining native Austinites I would have thought that you knew not to schedule anything before the Mesquites put out leaves...
But it is nice to know that you acknowledge all those nice descriptions of the McKinney Falls Get Together... in MID to LATE March several years ago...
You did not even own a Mercedes at that time.... Had to buy Marlene from one of those attendees just to get into to this group.

1. Sure won't do that now
2.Very Possible
3.Possible due to bad weather
4.Been There Done That
5.Justin does not want to visit with me in person.

No cows, just heifers.

And, there's four now, not just two. But, the first two should become cows late in the spring.

For the record, the weather at the last party was hot (110° methinks) and dry. I can't help it if everyone freaked out just because a hurricane was 100 miles to the east.

Oh , I forgot about one of the nicest things about the other get together....

Paul brought not only his collection of TSB's ...but his COPIER... so people could get copies of those they were interested in...

Get over it. This is just a forum and many of us are very hardheaded (myself included), let's not forget we are all car freaks at heart and will probably always have plenty to talk about.

I, for one, would love to caravan to the Berry Hill Farm with anyone heading there from south of Pflugerville.

What ever happened to that " I only eat BarBQue diet you were on " ?

It just occured to me that if we brought the right equipment ... we could have food and you only have to care for a Herd Of One afterwards.....

You did not cancel that party until the weather map showed the center of that hurricane travel pointed directly at your farm ... and I am not kidding about that...

That's correct but, we had a little gathering anyway....musta been too hot for the big hair gang from Elgin. At least March 3rd is before hurricane season starts.
