I want to put a three pointed star on the front of my DaimlerChrysler product and sit in a lawn chair in the middle of your pasture. And really show up this time not like last time.

Well I sure hope so! I've only been here a little over a year too! Where you from in Oregon? My dad lives in southern Oregon (Selma to be exact), spent a lot of time in that area over the last 15 years. Beautiful forests.

We could meet on the way to BHF, though you're already pretty close.

Certainly! I look forward to meeting you too. Bryan/College Station is barely a shade over 50 miles from BHF.

We'll appropriate a star from the TURD parts car for the duration of your visit. You know big hair will show from his crib in a pimpin' Honda so, maybe I should find some bling for my man Greg? It's all good.

However, if the rain keeps up like it has been, we'll be sitting up to our butts in water. My pastures are so soggy I can't check fences in anything but the buggy and in some places, that's iffy.

I lived in Sheridan, Ore for 10 yrs. then Salem for 10 more. I certainly intend to make it up there even though one of my axle boots is torn. I have the replacement in the trunk but haven't had the inspiration to change it yet.

We had a get together in Vancouver Wa. a few years ago and I meet some interesting people. I recognize a few of the names in this thread and they all seem to be characters. I'm looking forward to being able to put faces with names soon.

The ones that aren't either turn into characters or get assimilated.

Is is clicking?

1) If yes, go to a truck stop and buy some "5th wheel lube". Squirt some lube (1 tbsp) into the CV joint through the cracked boot. Move the car fwd and backwards a little, squirt more in. Wrap boot in the toughest duct tape you can find. Drive car to GTG and many thousands of additional miles until you have time and $$$ to R&R both axles (don't do just one).

2) If it isn't clicking yet, see step 1.

Is there still a hood star on old yeller? If so, it probably would be nice if i bought it back from you, then returned it to Greg and paid him a bit for renting it for the couple years or so i used it. i know that caused him a little agony. So he's rollin in a Honda these days? He could do worse but i sure like that 240 he has, even without AC. Wonder what he'd take for it? Has anyone tried to buy it from him yet?

Stick it out Jimmy! I've been on Atkins for almost four years now and it's one of the best things that I ever did for myself, it's right on up there with quitting smoking and regular exercise. After three weeks or a month of pure Atkins you will get to a point where you won't give a baked potato, french fries or a donut a second look.

Larry,
You should rattle down to the farm on the third. It would be good to hear from you again!

Thanks for the invite, but the only diesels that I have running are tractors and it sure sounds like a long drive, even in road gear. I'm afraid that if I were to show up in my Corvette or one of my Fords they would get shot full of holes or worse.

Have a great day,

LOL!!

A Corvette would normally be forced to sacrifice it's exhaust system to the bad road Gods of Berry Hill. But, I'm positive that if you appeared on the appointed day, your vast knowledge of all things diesel would provide special dispensation. You'd be permitted to park the 'vette at the gate and then be blissfully transported to the gathering via electric farm buggy or the TOAD.

Okay then, with such road conditions, if I can make it, I'll bring my Roper's pickup complete with a hat saver, lariat and piggin' string. Surely it won't be a victim of the road conditions, but will it end up with any key scratches or bullet holes?
