Chicagoland GTG Pics....

Hey Everyone,
Here are the pictures I took of the Chicagoland GTG on Sunday, Sep. 16th in Carpentersville, IL. Most of them are of Prime16's and my 500E but the rest are of Wodnek's w123 300D and a group of 16V 190E's owned by some nice guys that hang out at 190Revolution. Oh, and also a mint 560SEC. Check it out! http://www.putfile.com/hightechstuff2/images/147309

Hope we can get a bigger group next time!

I wanted to go, but as mentioned in another thread, I was sick and didn't feel like driving for 7 hrs with a post-op knee. Maybe next summer.

500 not 300. Yes, you could steal one from a 500E and drop it in with some modification. I think they may have been avalable on other W124's but I'm not sure.

That 190E has a turbo, and intercooler! What kind of power was he putting down?

The 500E's look so sick, I love those fender flares.

That's Benzmac's old 16V turbo. I think it was making 450HP when he finished it. Unfortunately it had a blown head gasket at the meet so taking it for a ride was pointless. Too Bad!

HAHAHA!...... Yeah, I love my 500E! My rear sun shade is broken on mine though. It's something electrical. Both the headrests and the sun shade went at the same time. That's why the headrests are stuck in the upright position.

I went for a ride in (Benzmac) Donnie Drummond's 16V turbo when he and Webmaster had their shop. Probably put out similar HP as M.B.DOC's. It pulled like a friggin' freight train.

Wow, that is so cool. You are very lucky.

How did you find out it was for sale? Or, did you make him an offer he couldn't refuse?
