Chicagoland G2G???
 

I know its early, but im excited for spring/summmer to come and awaiting the next chicagoland G2G. we had so much fun last time. SO what do you all think?

i was thinking maybe a drive like CA had? or maybe i could talk to the local MB stealership and coordinate somthing with them? let me know

There is a classic german car meet coming up in May. I'll be posting the info soon.

OK, now its time to start planning for the chicagoland g2g. I know there is one on may 26th for europian cars. But i was hopping we could also have one for mercedes shop people.

What kind of event is this (other than a Mercedes gathering), and where is it held at?

I was leaving that up to everyone. SInce ur in Batavia and im in St. Charles, I think we should get priority choice over were it should be held:D

Hey guys, is there gonna be a GTG before the end of summer? Or mabe one in the fall? Lets do a cruise or something.

I have never attended a Mercedes enthusiast GTG so I'm up for it. It seems like the Midwest can never organize anything. Come on people! We can't let the east and west coast guys have all the fun!

I have two options for you:

1.) The Chicagoland MB Club is holding a Concours of Mercedes at the Oak Brook Polo Club on Sep 9. Admission is $10.

2.) I'm a moderator on a 190E-specific site, and we've planned a GTG for Sep. 16th. Exact location is yet to be determined, but will probably be somewhere around Naperville or Downer's Grove. All would be welcome.

I don't visit this site often (though I should), but I'll try to update you when final arrangements are made for the 16th. If I forget, somebody give me a nudge at prime16-at-190revolution.net.

I could get down to Chicago in about 7 hours. Have an old college buddy to stay with and make it into a long weekend.


We should get something together along the 190 group. Post on other forums, plenty of MB'ers in the area.

When "Prime-16" knows the location/time, maybe the mod can create a sticky. Also, post on some the other Merc forums.

I emailed Prime, but it bounced back. MTI knows him, so I'll let him know...

I'd head down Friday early and leave Sunday after the gtg. Besides Kuan, I don't know of any other Minnesota MB'ers. There are a handful in WI.

The 6.9 is a year away from being able to be taken anywhere!
