Cool New England Spring GTG.......June 9, 2007

Oh yeah the weather is warming up and spring is right around the corner! Lets plan a GTG so we can shake off the winter blues with some good conversation, food, and beer!

For any of you new guys, you want to come to one of these. They are always a blast, non of us are weird so don't worry. Even if you don't currantly have a MB and just want to stop by and learn thats cool. For the old hands I look forward to seeing you guys again! We can swap our new MB war stories.

So I'm thinking we should schedual it sometime in May, so its warm, and the best ones are usualy at someones house. I'd host it at my place but my parents would kill me, we just don't have the parking. Well unless you count the front lawn...

I posted this nice and early because I know everyone is busy. Lets start throwing out some ideas!

Bump, the NJ thread seems to be drawing luke warm interest at best, so I figured I fire this one back to the top.

Any interest in a GTG this spring?? I know we have a lot of members around here...

I'm in for Hattie's parents' front lawn.

Or anywhere else. I will probably have to drag along a punk kid or two. But they wouldn't hear or see anything they already haven't heard or seen from their grandfather...I think.

Hmm actualy I may be able to host it...I just need to find a place.

I'm thinking my buddies shop, on the weekend their certainly would be enough parking. Plus we would have the shop with food, drinks and a bathroom. The scenery isn't great, but its not bad.

Or we could do it at Eisenhower State park, and just bring tables and food.

So want to do a Milford one? If enough people commit I will find a place and we can set the date; probably late May sometime...

I don't care I'd have you guys pull up onto the grass, but my parents would care. Something about tearing up the yard, you know that kind of crap.

I don't care where it is, somewhere central in RI, MA, CT would probably be good. Although I guess it doesn't really matter because the NJ guys won't come north of the city anyway.

If people along the way have filtered veg oil available that I could buy cheap, or have, I would come! Diesel at $3 per gallon is a bit steep when driving 800 miles x2 anyone? anyone?

This is exactly how I feel. We should have a midwest GTG or mabye get a convoy going if there is a group of us that would have to travel a long distance...

how about central upstate NY? We've got a couple hundred acres and almost always something going on at Watkins Glen International raceway, which is less than 10 miles.
