Thumbs up Tri-State GTG for MI, IN, & OH!

Note:

The location and Date for this GTG have been set. The underneath discussion is only included for the sake of keeping everything in one thread. Please use this thread to let us know you're coming.

Where: Heritage Park, Coldwater, MI

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?formtype=address&addtohistory=&address=%5b71%2d99%5d%20Heritage%20Park%20Dr&city=Coldwater&s tate=MI&zipcode=49036&country=US&geodiff=1

GPS Co-ordinates: 41.94951 N ; 85.02106 W

When: July 28th, 2007, 10:30 am - 5 pm

Ground rules: NO ALCOHOL, NO EXCEPTIONS!! This is a public park, so please, no littering, swimming suits (unless you're planning on using the swimming pool area ), or other behavior that would not be good discretion in a public place. Also, no more parts than can fit in your car. If we were to have a swap meet, we would be required to purchase a permit. Person to person sales/swaps only. OR you can jump in you car and drive down the street to the Shell station and finish your "Transaction" there!

We hope to have a "convoy" travel down through the City of Coldwater in the afternoon. We'll go by feel on it, but we're planning sometime in the 2pm area.

Hope to see you there!!!

Anybody interested in having a Tri-State area Get Together for those of us in Indiana, Michigan, & Ohio? I'm thinking Coldwater MI would be a good spot as it's located right where all those states come together and is located directly on I-69... I would be willing to organize it if there's interest....

http://www.google.com/maps?q=Coldwater,+MI,+USA&sa=X&oi=map&ct=title

http://www.coldwater.org/

Let the ideas roll... I'm just asking if there's any interest in this......

Alternate location suggestions are welcome too.

I'm interested. I was hoping to get to the New England GTG , but can't get the time off work. 6 hr drive is no big deal. If the timing is right , I'm there.

I'm here I'd be glad to come to a GTG It seems that all of them are always so far away, it'd be nice to have one that doesn't require 800 miles of driving to get to.

I'm thinking June/July as well, I want to make sure that my 84 is back together and running..... Would be terrible to help organize a GTG and not have a Benz to drive to it!!!

I would be happy to be there

Assuming we have no conflicts with the time, I will be there. Hope to have my 84 running by then, if not I will have to take "Old Blue", it has some rust but is an A-1 runner. Let me know if I can be of help.

Boy, I'm glad for the responses!

I was thinking like Coldwater MI or kalamazoo MI...... coldwater would be a boon as it's situated right dead on I-69 and is super easy to find.... And relatively close to IN & OH.. Makes a pretty good central spot I thought..... It's close to me so i can take care of organizing it...... Who knows, might even be able to get the fairgrounds!

Bruce and I would definitely attend, as stated above.

Of course, we would need about 7 people driving there to get all his cars there

really, we would probably each take our main car.
