Northern California Diesel Drive....November 10, 2007
Ok guys, its june and we haven't had a meet since January. Whats going on? (Sticky please)
So I know a lot of us were busy with school, work, more school and other stuff. I am guilty myself. Anyways, lets get this next one rolling. I know Eric has a great route planned for the East Bay Hills and that would be awesome, or if others want to do the Delta that would also be a blast. Lets get a vote on East Bay or Delta as well as a date set. I vote for either the weekend of th 23rd and I prefer Saturdays, but Sunday could probably work. If not that weekend, then either the 1st or 2nd of July. Anyway it works you can count me in with my 83 300d. I may be able to get my dad and the E300, and if its in June I might have another friend with with a 77 300d who'd like to come. So what do you all say? Lets do it, its about time. Eric, can you post your proposed route? I think it should be the normal format: meet and talk, drive, stop and eat and talk, then maybe some more driving. I like all the ideas we've had with repair ideas, how to make your car run better, a raffle, giveaways and all that good stuff. (Sticky please)

damn i dont have my W124 suspension upgrade completed. And the SD is stuck in fremont with a bad transmission.
Is a VW TDI ok?

July would be PERFECT. Especially that first few days before 4th of july would be even more perfect. But if not somewhere right around there.
Hopefully we get a date set so I can leave that day open. Please let us know.

alright zack, i guess imma have to remove the VW emblems and glue on some MB stars on to make it acceptable.
and i can always bring my dads W123....even if it looks like crap  june 30th or july 1st either one works for me.

Just caught the thread! Pretty much any weekend works well, as I have a day job.... Gotta get money somewheres to put the money into the car. I am taking care of some little things, but overall, she should be ready to go...
Assuming gassers are welcome...  << I hope gassers are welcome...And if they are, I am looking forward to seeing you guys once again. I think I can get my dad to go, so we may bring either a G500 or SL600, along with my wagon. There has been some stuff done since the last time I took a drive, and its more aesthetically pleasing! Some of you guys know what it is (Thanks Zack and Krautmister!!!), and I am looking forward to showing them off...
