testing the GTG waters

ok.. seeing as I am oblivious to weather conditions .. what would be an optimum time to have a gtg in FL.. I was thinking end of september ish..

other florida members?

Last one was great 20 members showed up.. We know how to gtg in FL.. If we can get at least 40 to RSVP I can see about the dealership getting involved.. maybe a swap meet etc.. but hey if 20 show again it would be cool..

Also it would be cool if members other than us diesel guys came.. we do like the vintage cars and mogs...

Thumbs up

price of gass pretty much sucks right now. But then, my wonderfully tuned 2000E320 Designo get 31.2 MPG on strict highway driving

Relevence? If you want people to come from out of town or out of state for the GTG then it is a major issue.

what is your location .. you do not have one listed.

22 cars and owners came to the last. It went pretty well ... But we have to step it up and show the rest of the nation that FL is where it is at.

the price of gas might be discouraging to members who would like to drive in from out of town. Hummm Amtrak has that drive-n-sleep thing where you take the train and put your car on the train...thinking, thinking.....might be doable Don.

I had a great time when I was there (I still rave about the excellent BBQ - haven't had any that good since or prior).
Have the trees grown any? We could've used a little shade...or at least a few clouds - but that is getting picky...all in all, it was a great time. I don't know if I can bring the '71, it would be nice to take it out for a drive.

I'll be in Orlando on the 25th - 30th. Willing to come and show off my SD.. now featuring a smashed in rear quarter panel, and smashed-out on the other side too!
