Good idea, but how do you guarantee cold weather?

Diesels may seem tricky to start in cold weather, but once you know what they need it is not issue. I love starting a 617 on a cold day. There is some sort of satisfaction in it. But then I grew up on a farm dealing with five diesel tractors in the winter.

Last JAN in upper Michigan was horrid.
I would strongly suggest end of FEB or latter for some OK weather.
Detroit is fine in JAN, but getting there it won't..
Just my 2 cents..

Thanks,

I'd be interested too if I could get my car to start. Think it's the battery plus cables. Will let you know next week after I get back from a short trip and change everything.

The battery will only start the car if I recharge it overnight. Thought I might have a short but it doesn't seem so. Am too busy and it's too late after work to do anything. Maybe will get a day off when something is open to get a good battery.

Absolutely diesel heads, let's all have a nice tech session and hope for presentable weather. I agree that mid January plus Michigan will/should make for a cold weather guarantee.

For any directions, etc, please visit our website, www.motorwerksgroup.com or feel free to contact either myself or one of our two managers at (248) 668-6793

Regards,

Satish
