Supposidly its a pretty good car show. $10 per car and almost anything is welcome. The Mercedes area is usualy a bit light, so it would be nice to beef that up.

I know another member is planning on bringing his 560SL which doesn't run. My friend works there I'll try to get some detials, but AFAIK its pretty wide open and pretty large. I understand its everything from Ferrari's to 50's Chevy's.

Any pre-1979 (1978 and older) vehicle can enter the event. but no it isnt much of a euro event

they close off main street for the parade friday and saturday, but will the recent popularity cops have been getting really annoying and you almost never see a burnout anymore

I'd love to attend another GTG however everything takes a back seat to sailing. The boat comes out in mid October, give or take. A GTG after that would be great.... RT

Another friend is bringing his nephew to this show with a 123 300d five speed euro car he just picked up.
This is just screaming for an awesome excuse for a GTG there!!!

EDIT: O man, now I've looked it up, I've been there before. My GF at the time went to Mt. Ida and thought she was doing the coolest thing by taking me to a car museum (it was a very sweet gesture on her behalf because she could give a *****). Lots of French vehicles there when I went.... really old ones!

Bummer, I'll be in Foxborough partaking in debauchery and general football hooliganism.

I do have to make it down to that show one of these year, even if only as a spectator.

I have never been before. One of my buddies wants to try and enter his modified truck. So I figure I'll go, and maybe twist my other friends arm, so he will bring the S600. I think you can enter just about anything, for $10.

Anyone else going? It's sort of conflicting with the Common Ground fair up here in Maine that I like to go to. If there is enough to make it almost a GTG, I'll try harder to change the girlfriends mind.

That is the plan.

There is nothing like sitting through 8 hours of seminars with a wicked hangover.

Last year I made one poor woman run out of the room to puke just by pulling the remnants of a bottle of tequila out of my briefcase during the 8 AM seminar.
