There's a link to the RSVP thread in the very first post of this thread.

Greg, don't consider being indecent by driving that Honda to the GTG. Maybe I'll bring the PSD and that load of hay. Not.

The weather for tommorow looks GREAT! Clear skies, highs in the low to mid 70s.

Then it wouldn't be a TX gtg now would it?

Well, for those of you who made it, I'm glad you all came out. For those of you who didn't come, kick yourself in the shins, NOW! lol. Some of you weren't able to come on the journey from Houston to Round Top, but I'm still glad that I got to meet you at Cracker Barrel (POS and Tarbe have BEAUTIFUL cars). I led the caravan, the only sedan (and diesel) among SLs and SLKs. We also had a slight rarity, all of the R107 SLs in the caravan were Euros, 2 were 300SLs. Less than 100 R107 300SLs were exported through the gray market, so having two attend was pretty nice. Funny thing, halman2228 told me that he wished I would've taken it a little slower on the way up there. Oh boy, I thought was that funny, the guys with the big 5.0L Euro V8s complaining that my diesel 5 banger was taking it too fast! I tried to keep it under 85, but the turbo started to spool and.... lol. I understand, it was good top down weather, I was just trying to make up for lost time, we left about 20 mins late. We got to the museum, and discovered it was all Cadillacs! The museum owner got rid of all the other cars and has just Cadillacs, from 1904 to the early 90s. After that, some of us ate at Klumps Cafe. Some then went to Royers cafe afterwards for pie. The town square there sure was neat, quiet, clean air, nice people. Afterwards, I took the 300D up to Austin to see some sights and gave it a lil' Italian Tuneup on the steep inclines on RM 2222 and Spicewood Springs Rd. I'll have some pics up later tonight. A great time was had by all. Again, thanks to all who showed up. Hope to see you again soon!

I posted the pics to the events forum thread.

85!

Holy smokes (literally). 70-75 is cruising for me. I would agree, I don't like pushing my car to 85 unless I need to make a pass.

Sheesh! 65 is cruising for me!

It's a really good thing I had to head home after Cracker Barrel
